How To Remove Administrator Account On Dell Laptop
This shouldn't be hard to prepare. Windows is not supposed to automatically login to annihilation, so can you do this for me to ensure the registry is set up as such?
- First, go to the Run box (printing WindowsLogo + R) and run the control NETPLWIZ.
- Make sure the checkbox is turned on, then click Apply.

Thanks for the reply. At present information technology is everything listed in my showtime bulletin PLUS i accept to enter the password :)
In "users for this figurer" i have two: myself and that ambassador which is unable to be deleted.

Small steps. Can yous check: is this in addition to the normal built-in administrator account (the one with the real username of "ambassador")?
To check, type internet user at the control prompt. Yous'll notice that this will evidence accounts that the NETPLWIZ dialog does not. For example, my bodily Administrator account is disabled (the default), so it doesn't prove (and it cannot exist deleted, just yous can disable it to go along it from being available or shown anywhere). (The extra "localadmin" account I have is the admin account I use day-to-twenty-four hour period, information technology's just a normal user account for me).
Anyway, if the one that you desire to remove is "the one true admin", then I would but disable it. If it's not, you tin can type net user username /delete to remove the account. Note that you lot'll need to run Cmd prompt as admin, so right-click First and cull Command Prompt Admin.

Okay, the black affair lists "my regular account" every bit an administrator and then "default account" as invitee.
The white thing says Administrator account is the built-in administrator account.
I tried to disable it but didn't succeed. By that I mean I was however logged in to that business relationship when starting the reckoner only to observe out that it was blocked.
Everything worked fine earlier Windows 10.

I gave up trying to delete information technology. Something is wrong. I have same issue BUT worse. I can salvage any files to Documents because EVERYTHING is now READ Simply and it wont let me modify it! Can salve ONLY to Desk Superlative.
Here's MY other post.
Just downloaded 10. When I open a Word file or an Excel file and endeavor to save it I get this
When I go into the File Save as in both Word and Excel etc information technology says ALL files are READ ONLY.
This is a mess. I can't relieve whatsoever file I have fabricated to relieve any file to Documents at all. Have to save to desk-bound top. MESS!
Also when I try to open Outlook (even though I don't use it that much) I get this mistake message.
God I wish I had Windows 7 back. It was perfect!

I have the same trouble moving from viii.1 to 10! Insane. Can't save whatsoever work, tells me I'one thousand not authorized.. Tin can't open up any existing files on the hard drive, just on USB backup. Saves to who knows?
Been on hold for over 3 hours (gave upwards later one.v hrs and tried again subsequently)!!! Why can't they simply fix this problem?
They now want me to upgrade my laptop running seven!

we take a general computer in the house. No ane owns merely everyone. With Windows 7 information technology was non a trouble.
When upgraded to Windows 10 - it did not request a business relationship or password. It was using the same ane.
Then we decided to utilize Netflix app - when asked for an account and password, I gave my own account and countersign from my personal computer. Well it changed the administrator to my business relationship.
Next - no one could use the computer without my login. I have created a account and set as administrator only it does not work. This account cannot download app, cannot run across the external storage. Cannot practise annihilation.
I am going to reinstall Windows 10 as clean installation. This is my next frustration.

I have almost all these faults (except with Outlook till now). So I decided to go dorsum to Windows 7 but I can't! I take the answer:
You are created 1 account (Administrator). Get to Setting>Accounts>Other users to remove these accounts and then try once again.
I used both advices of Shawn: netplwiz command and net user to check but no Ambassador account besides normal built-in my account was found.
I went to Setting>Accounts simply at that place I found just my business relationship as Administrator and ASP.NET machine account amid Other Users.
Now I can't work with Windows 10 and tin can't go back to Windows seven. Any help will be appreciated.

I think I have to add that ane time I created Ambassador account with command cyberspace user administrator /agile:yes but then I removed information technology with command net user administrator /active:no. Besides subsequently the calculator restart in that location is no admin account seen to cull from. There is but one and just my user account.
